Back in 1965 or probably before that, Hal David penned the lyrics to a Burt Bacharach tune and Jackie DeShannon sang the song. What the World Needs Now is Love became quite popular. Today, ask yourself, “Does the world deserve love?” if the answer you come up with is, YES, then ask yourself, “What am I doing about that?”
To me, each of you are precious, divine beings of light. I don’t give a rip about what you believe, what you say or what you do. The fact that you exist is enough to prove to me that you are precious, divine. Any belief that you have otherwise, you have learned, and you deserve to ask yourself, “Can I trust the one who taught me that I am less than what I am?”
I think one some of the most insightful words written on the subject of “YOU” are Dr. Suess’ snippet . . .
Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.
So pull out a picture of someone you know and love. As you do, ask yourself, “Why do they love me?”, then give yourself a little time and space to come up with the answer. Now, I ask you to share your feelings for that person in your picture and post a picture of yourself showing your picture to the camera in the comments below. Thank you for doing that.
